What is the safety breakaway feature?

 

    -- Out of all the features in the GoSwivel360, the most important is the safety breakaway system.  This system was engineered to reduce the chance of injury and provide a higher level of confidence while using the mount.  Using eight strong rare earth magnets, the top portion of the rotating assembly and boom will detach from the lower portion when sufficient load is applied.  This breakaway feature works in any direction and quickly reattaches with one click.

 

Can it mount to vehicles?

 

    -- Yes.  Using the optional GoPro Suction Mount, the GoSwivel360 can be mounted to vehicles.  Please follow this LINK to see a short example.

 

Can you feel it on your head?

 

    --  If our mount is balanced properly as per our instructions, it is very minimal.  The counter-weight really removes the stress placed from the camera weight extended out in front of you.

 

Could the mount be used for all day purposes?

 

    --  This mount is not meant to be an item you use every time you take your GoPro camera out.  Rather, it is a innovative tool you can add to your arsenal of video recording equipment that will allow you to create a unique and professional video perspective for your GoPro video shoots. 

 

Can the boom be removed to be used as a handheld extension?

 

    --  Yes.  To remove the boom, simply removes the two nylon thumbscrews located on the top plate.  The boom easily removes.  Extend and lock the boom to your desired length.  The countweight also aids in reducing the stress placed on your wrists while holding out in front of you.

 

Does it require two GoPro cameras to operate?

 

  -- No it does not.  Lets face it, not everyone can afford multiple $300+ cameras.  The GoSwivel360 has a counterweight which enables the mount to be used with only one GoPro camera.

 

Does it come with everything I need?

 

 -- The GoSwivel360 attaches to the GoPro Curved or Flat Adhesive Mount which comes with every GoPro camera.  This is not included with our mount.  Also, does not include the camera.

What helmets is it compatible with?

 

  --  The GoSwivel360 is compatible with most helmets.  We have attached them to snowboarding, skateboarding, street bike, dirt bike and many other helmets.  The GoSwivel360 attaches to the GoPro curved or flat adhesive mount.  These mounts are included with every GoPro camera bundle.  To operate properly, this adhesive mount must be attached in the center of your helmet to obtain good center of gravity.  The GoSwivel360 also has four aluminum stand-off support rods.  These rods support the load over a larger area, also reducing the amount of movement while using the mount.  If your helmet has large holes in the top, we recommend contacting us before ordering.
